Papers of John T. Edsall, 1931-1979.

Includes professional correspondence, laboratory notebooks, and experimental notes of Edsall and students, and autobiographical writings. Some correspondence relates to chemical and biological warfare, 1966-1971; and correspondence, clippings and other material about supersonic transport plane and Edsall's work in the Citizen's League Against the Sonic Boom. Edsall's notebooks, 1934-1940, pertain to Raman spectra. Also included are a copy of manuscript about history of biochemistry at Harvard, bibliographies of Edsall's writings, and four audiocassette tapes of interviews with Edsall conducted by David Bearman in 1979.
